python-cinfony software package provides Python abstraction layer to cheminformatics toolkits, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-cinfony
python-cinfony is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-cinfony package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-cinfony *
You will get with python-cinfony package name, version, architecture and description in a table
